Prairie Sisters Farmhouse Fabric Tour

Hello everyone! I am so excited to be a part of the blog tour for Poppie Cotton's brand new fabric called Prairie Sisters. The fabric's soft vintage colors make it perfect for so many projects.

I was so inspired by this fabric and could not decide what to make. So I made lots of things!!!

First up was a project bag (or two or three).

The first one is a cute patchwork bag. The pattern is the Finch Bucket by Stitch Mischief. Really fun to make and so useful to hold lots of knitting projects.

This bag was made for my favorite knitter's birthday. I made a "log cabin" block and designed a zipper bag around it. I also made the cute drawstring bag you see in the back.

Next up was a chicken pillow. Doesn't this remind you of Peeps? I used a mix of the Mama Hen block pattern by Lori Holt and a tutorial by Sew Inspired.

My last project was a small quilt. The fabric is so vintage feeling that I wanted to use a traditional quilt block. I think this would be so cute in a little girl's room or on a table set for Easter lunch.

Big thanks to the ladies at Poppie Cotton for letting me play with their pretty fabric. I hope I have inspired you to order a bundle or two and get sewing!!
