Little Projects

Right now I am totally loving little projects.  I am looking forward to working on some of the cute projects from Patchwork Please, and have a stack of new charm packs just waiting to be made into something fun!

These small projects are just what I needed while we are working on the big project of making over our new house. If you would like to see some before and afters, my daughter has been blogging about the HUGE changes in our dining room and living room.

We set a date of September 26th to accomplish as much as possible. We are hosting an Origami Owl party that evening, and have invited friends and family to come and see our new house, eat lots of yummy snacks and see some really cute jewelery. If you  are not familiar with Origami Owl, here is a link. You can also place an order even though you can't come to my house...though I wish you all could!

I'd love to hear about your favorite small projects!

  4. I love small projects too, sometimes it is nice to be able to finish something really quickly. My favourite small things to make at the moment are fabric baskets and pretty tissue holders for handbags.

  5. I love making small projects, too...especially pincushions. Have just spent some time catching up on your beautiful blog. We have much in common, especially the "thing" for Susan Branch's work. I really need to read her latest book! I recently made a whole bunch of pincushions with her panel of illustrated quotations...need to make a lot more! You should pop over to my blog to see them. We seem to like a lot of the same things...at least I really admire your wonderful finishes!
