These little squares pack a lot of punch! It seems that lately I have been using hundreds of them and I love them!
Granny Square Blocks
Hexagons
and Prairie Points.
I love that I can either use up scraps from bunting banners, or I can be really lazy and use jelly roll strips. Why is it that anything mini is so much cuter? I just discovered that Moda makes a charm pack of these little cuties!! I am so tempted to order one just to have on my sewing table to make me extra happy while I am working!!
The bunting banner giveaway is now closed and I will announce the winner tomorrow!
Adorable little jewels of colour and pattern; no wonder you can't resist them! I would want to keep them just to look at them and play with . . I find that no scrap of fabric is too small . . they all have purpose, and when too small to sew they can be stuck to cards . .
ReplyDeleteThis post has me wanting to run right up and cut little squares! Such sweet little bits
ReplyDeleteLittle bits of sunshine! So sweet and happy! I'd love to know how the hexagons are sewn together? My coffee deprived brain can grasp it, and I'm thinking little mug rugs made out of them could be an adorable Christmas gift!
ReplyDeleteSo many possibilities. :o)
ReplyDeleteSoo cute. I too just adore
tiny little creations. :o)
Have a lovely day Debbie.

I agree that everything is cuter when its mini! I saw a cup and saucer hair slide the other day and began to coo over it! :D I love that the colours you use are always so bright, very cheerful indeed! :)

I have been cutting up my wonky scraps into 2 1/2 in. squares. They are so useful and much easier to store than the messy scraps. BTW, I am looking at your old posts. I love your work and the colors you choose. Have a great week:)
