Happy Saturday! I was playing around in the sewing room, and decided to see what else I could do with a dresden plate. I made a mini size one (this one is about 5" in diameter) and put it in an embroidery hoop! Extra cute!
I think I am going to make these in different sizes, and in different fabric lines to hang on my wall above my sewing machine. Color inspiration whenever I need it!
That is a great idea Debbie! Your walls will look gorgeous with all that wonderful color hanging on it. :)
ReplyDeleteThey will look beautiful on your walls
ReplyDeleteThat will be so pretty! Please show us your wall when you get it done. I love this in a hoop :) It would certainly inspire me!
ReplyDeleteOooh, thats a good idea, I like the hanging them on your wall for inspiration idea. It would also be cool if you divided a picture up into 3 frames and hung it up, do you know what I mean? :) I am a huge flower fan and think these are brill.

so cute in the fabrics you chose. I have one hanging in my sewing room made with Bliss! Love it, left over from my Sugar Dish quilt. I want to make one into a pillow like yours!! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty! Love the idea of a craft space wall display too. I haven't ventured into the world of Dresden Plates yet, so thanks for the inspiration. One day I'll have the courage! ;-)
