I want to say "hello" to all of you who are visiting from Inspired By Charm! Michael was so sweet to feature my quilt on his Facebook page and Pinterest, and I know lots of you have stopped by to take a peek!! So welcome!!!
I want to tell you about my new BFF who I spent all of Sunday hanging out with.
Here she is
My new walking foot!!! She is making my quilting life sooooooo easy! I was able to get this quilt quilted in half the time it normally takes, and NO puckering. Zero puckers!!! Yahoo!!!!!!!
She is attached to my modern Brother machine. I love this little machine so much. This was given to me by my sweet aunt who purchased it a few years ago and never used it. It is now used EVERY day!!
Using a walking foot makes attaching binding a snap. Who knew??
And here is the finished quilt!!! A little mix of patchwork and prairie points. I LOVE making prairie points and think they add such a cute touch to girly girl baby quilts!! This fabric is Folk Heart by Lecien, and I know, no red and no polka dots!!! But I love the sweetness of the pink and yellow. And I loved making this, thanks to my new BFF.
The quilt is in my shop if you are interested!!
What a beautiful quilt!!!! My firt attachment to my machine was a walking foot, can't live without it.
