Holiday Weekend Update

Well here we are smack dab in the middle of a holiday weekend!

I decided today was the perfect day for some quality quilting time, which I haven't done in a LONG time. I am still working on my pinwheel quilt, and today I finished piecing the pinwheels, added the inside sashing and now I am in the process of attaching the prairie points. One side is done. The other side....well let's just say I am hunting for my seam ripper...argh.  But it is going to be so, so cute.

I also made a Happy Little Pin Cushion with some of the scraps from the quilt! It is in my shop if you need a pin cushion!!

Tomorrow is picnic day!!

While you are blog hopping, be sure and drop by Notes of Sincerity. Trish is having a give away of some adorable Lecien Petit Fleur Fat Quarters!!

Hope you are having a super weekend, and thanks to all who have served our country!
