A Little Fun

I don't know about you, but right about now the winter blahs start to set in. So I thought a little fun was in order. How about a giveaway? I've never done one, and you all have been so nice about my pincushions. So I am going to send one to one of you!



Isn't it cute!!! You could put it next to your sewing machine, in your embroidery basket or if you don't sew it would even be cute sitting on a shelf.  All you have to do is leave a comment and say hello. Tell me what you are doing to beat the winter blahs. I will have Mr. Random Number Generator pick a winner on Friday!

    Such cute pincushions! I try not to focus on the conditions around me, but instead, look at the obvious and not so obvious blessings in my life. I keep sweet music in the background as I sew or quilt. Thanks for your sweet blog! quiltexas@gmail.com

    Please count me in~ I'm so in love with those cushions! I've been doing a lot of stitching this winter. I'm working on a little Valentine heart swap made with wool felt, and I'm having so much fun! I've never done felt applique and I'm finding that I love it!

    What a sweet little giveaway. I plan on making some for gifts, but would love to have yours for myself. I've been sewing up a storm. (maybe the wrong word, huh?).     Oh how thoughtful, I would live to have one of your pincushions. To chase away the winter blues I am making the most of the dull days by curling up in front of the fire and crocheting my wee heart out. Time spent browsing seed catalogues and planning my garden for the new year is helping too!

    Oooh, I would love and cherish one of your pincushions. :) I'm sitting in the sun with my pups when I can find some sun :) and by the fire when there is no sun to be found. :D I'm also reading about Native Americans, watching Nature, and sewing. Fresh coffee, a pup or two by my side, birdseed for my little bird friends, and I am one contented girl. :D

    I have been beating the blahs by going through all my projects and dreaming what they look like. I have also been trying to enjoy the sun the few times it pokes through. Today is my birhtday so I think that sould add to my luck. :-)

    Gorgeous giveaway Debbie!! I find that working with colourful fabrics, paints and yarn helps to keep the winter miseries away! It's very grey and cold here today, but with a bright lamp and plenty of fabric I am hardly noticing it!

    What fabulous pin cushions...they are absolutely gorgeous. Please include me. With the bad weather that is supposed to be coming our way ( I will believe that when it arrives)I can see me sitting by the fire sewing away and the pincushion would be used very often.

    I've actually come to love January. It's almost like a 'free month' where I can truly make sure the last of the Christmas clutter is put away, the house is back to 'normal' and I can tweak my family's schedule if need be, in order for us to live more efficiently. It's very much a month of getting better organized and trying to live the life I've always imagined for myself and my family.

    it is so cold here in Germany (this is not usual for us).
    We are drinking a lot of tea and we are eating a lot of soups to feeling warm and cozy.
