Flower Power

Dear Trish, Mary and Alicia,

Thank you for introducing me to the joys of hexagons. While I was without a sewing machine, I started cutting little squares of fabric and then sewed and sewed and sewed. I did not want to go to work, I did not want to go to the grocery store, I did not want to make dinner and I did not want to do laundry.

Yours sincerely,

  1. Looks so pretty, what are you making? Love your fabrics and sewing supplies. xoRobin❤

  2. I just checked out the 3 blogs, and now I see what all the excitement is about! Looks fun! Enjoy........I don't want to go to work today either. Take care, xoRobin❤

  3. Oh what red and white lovelies. Nothing like red and white.

  4. Isn't this called "grandmother garden"?
I did this about 30 years ago-all by hand. I need to drag it out and finish it.
Your choice of colors are so bright and happy!
I look forward to seeing the end results.

  5. Your hexagon is absolutely adorable. :o)
You are just the sweetest ... I read the other two ladies names, and could hardly believe my name fell amongst them. They are two of my favorite bloggers. I have several, yours included. :o)
Have a lovely rest of your week.
    Sincerely, Trish

  6. Your hexagons look picture perfect! haha...I love that they were only what you wanted to do :o)

I would love to see how you made them. I have some that I have been working on, but didnt have any info at the time that I started them, except to cut out every hexagon shape individually and then sew them up by hand.

    Blessings & Aloha!
Here is my past post about my hexagons...still unfinished, for now. a standstill

  7. Your hexies are soo cute.Nice and bright and cheerful.
