News From The Sewing Room

I apologize in advance. This may be the most boring post ever.

You can tell that I lead a pretty unexciting life when I am insanely excited about a new cutting mat. It's so shiny and smooth and it isn't chewing up my rotary blades for breakfast. It also isn't bright purple! YAY!!

I finished a quilt top for a customer's sweet little girl! I will be sandwiching and quilting tomorrow! I have found a ton of new vintage sheets and they are so fun to mix and match. She also ordered a matching bunting banner. CUTE!!

Happy mail. A Sweet Shoppe charm pack and a half yard of the most adorable aqua gingham! I was thinking a table runner when I ordered it, but now I am not so sure. This is yelling "make me into something for a baby!!!"   Hmmmmm.

I hope that you are still awake after reading this.

Oh, and Angela in Oklahoma posted that she saw a copy of Love Patchwork at Barnes and Noble just in case any of you here in the U.S.A. are looking for a copy!! Thanks Angela :)

    1. Hi Trish! Thanks!! The rotary cutter is by Fiskars and I bought it a few years ago at Joanns. I think it was a special edition for Breast Cancer Awareness.
