Thursday Tid-Bits

Just thought I would drop in and say hello. This post is just a bunch of random tid bits of what's happening in my world this week.

Pam Kitty Morning. A different colorway than I used last time. But I LOVE making patchwork and dresden plate pillows with it. This fabric reminds me of everything I love about the cottage look. Beadboard, benches, gingham, mason jars, white daisies and quilts. I think these pillows would be so perfect on a front porch! I have a quilt in mind, but need time to work on it.

And no cottage would be complete without a bunting banner.

Speaking of bunting banners, have you seen Downton Abbey???? The episode at the fair with all of those white fairy lights and bunting banners? I felt weak at the knees!!! You have to watch this if you like beautiful locations, gorgeous costumes and wonderful acting. I finished Season 1 Episode 4 last night. Cannot wait to watch more.

Warm weather. My crocuses are already in bloom! Daffodils are springing up! YAY! I actually got to wear just a sweater outside yesterday after work. Not long until I can break out the flip flops and paint my toenails pink!!

Just finished a cup of coffee, and the sewing machine is calling. I hope you are all having a wonderful Thursday!

  3. Hi Debbie, Love your fabrics and the SO Fun Bunting! I think the idea of buntings everywhere would be excellent but you're right others might not think the same. I'm watching Downton Abbey too....it is so good. Watching Season 2 now on DVD. I don't want it to end.
Going to take a peek at your Etsy, Take care, xoRobin❤

  4. Love all your cottage tid-bits! And can't wait to paint my toe nails pink and run around in my flip flops too. My happiest days are spent swinging on my front porch with yarn wrapped around my fingers and a little chihuahua on my lap.

  10. I love your bunting! I was on Pinterest yesterday looking up fabric and crochet bunting. I want to make some and I think it's a good excuse to go and buy some fresh new spring fabric like yours. I finished season one of Downton Abbey and LOVE it. Can't wait to start watching the second season. Have fun sewing! xx
