A Little Something Extra

I recently received a note with an etsy order asking if I could add an embroidered message to a quilt she purchased for her new baby niece. I have no idea if she reads my blog, but of course I would love to add an embroidered message!!
What do you think?

I think this turns an already cute and vintage style quilt into something totally handmade and personal. I hope she loves it too!

  1. Adorable! The fabric, the ties, the embroidery!!! All so beautiful! I once hand embroidered a hymn around the border of a baby quit. It was a labor of love but made the quilt oh so personal!

  8. I love that you stitched it in red! It plays off the binding so nicely. Did you use perle cotton to tie your quilt?
