I just realized that I haven't posted anything new here since November 1st! I have doing a Thirty Days of Thankful over on my Facebook page, and it is such a wonderful thing to do. Thinking about all of the things I am thankful for each and every day really gives me a positive attitude and makes me realize just how blessed I am.
I have been sewing up a storm for my shop and now think that I can make a pincushion with my eyes closed. These little guys are really popular and make great gifts! I had a chance to add a new Marmalade quilt to the shop. Simple patchwork, white border, scrappy binding and diagonal quilting. I LOVE the backing fabric so much.
Thanks to Trish over at Notes of Sincerity, who featured Happy Little Cottage on her fun Christmas Shopping posts! I have officially started my Christmas shopping AND I am making a few gifts, which I will post about soon!
I have more to chat about, but I really need to run upstairs and get ready for work!
Have a great weekend, and see you next week!!
I just have been reading your posts, I had to catch up. Glad you didn't have that much trouble with sandy, it must have been frightning. We don't have such extreme weather here in Holland. So love your pincushions, and your choice of fabric!! Groetjes, Gerda

ReplyDeleteHello Debbie
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilt! Pardon my ignorance ( I don't know much about quilting just admire them)but is there a reason why it is called a Marmalade Quilt or is it just a name you yourself have given it?
have a great weekend
Amanda :-)
Thanks Amanda! The fabric I used for the quilt is called Marmalade and I usually end up calling the quilts by the name of the fabric line I used. Happy weekend!!
