Do you remember me telling you about the quilt patterns I bought a few weeks ago at the CUTEST quilt shop on the planet? One of them is called State Fair and it is a Schnibble. I know I am probably way out of the loop in finding out about these adorable little patterns. I absolutely adore working on smaller projects, and this little pattern is so fun. It is made using 2 charm packs (Marmalade) and each block finishes at 5".
I have been swamped with etsy sewing, and as a reward for finishing an order, I make a Schnibble block. Schnibbling is my new word for FUN sewing. Not that I don't enjoy sewing orders for my shop, but I love having a project that is new and different.
I found two books full of Schnibble patterns at Joann's and promptly used my 50% off coupons to buy them. I think that starting in
Thank you Carrie Nelson for such cute, little projects!!

Hi, I'm a new follower and I just wanted to say I love your patchwork. I have just started to get back into doing some sewing and have started on a couple of patchwork cushions but they are nowhere near as professional or as beautiful as yours.
ReplyDeleteKind Regards

Now you know I'm not a quilter, but I could be very tempted by one of these too! What fun, and a Schnibble a month, what a fab idea. Can't wait to see what you do :D
