Vintage Linen Bunting Banner

 As you could tell from my last post, I couldn't wait to get my hands on my thrifted vintage sheets and make something.
I love the way patterns that really shouldn't go together, look so fun as a bunting banner. My rotary cutter is getting a workout this weekend. More bunting, a quilt, a pillow and a pin cushion are on the cutting board. Who knew a trip to the thrift store would be such a source of sewing inspiration!

    I love the hodge podge of pattern. it looks collected over time, bit and pieces handed down through generations. Beautiful!

    Oh I've been picking up various sheets (or more often pillowcases) to make something very much like this! I love yours! I love how those disparate fabrics all go together. It's so charming!

    I LOVE these!!! Especially that yellowy/mustard color. It just pops right out! I can see this on my back porch this summer. Can't wait!

    Very very sweet! I had those green gingham sheets when I was younger. Wish I still had them. I would cut them up into a million pieces. :)
