Weekend Update
The first weekend of October has been cold and rainy, so it has been perfect for hanging out in the sewing room and cutting fabric. I am making the "plus" quilt I told you about yesterday, and have finished cutting, laying out and labeling. When I was laying out the design, I realized that I probably should have added some green fabric to the mix, but I kind of like the vintage look of the quilt as is.
Most of the Halloween decorations are up, and I will be sharing photos as the light in my house allows. Dinner is cooking, the fireplace is going and I am watching The Big Bang Theory, which is my new favorite show. A wonderful Sunday afternoon.

Hi Debbie. :o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice day you have had. :o) I would love to have a fire place to light. It won't be long and we can sit under the stars around a little bon fire, roasting marshmallows and being together. :o) We just turned the ac off a day ago (finally).
I can not wait to see your quilt! I have looked at that pattern for some time and I just know yours will be as adorable as can be. :o)
Have a wonderful week!
hugs. Trish
Can't wait to see your decorations and quilt prints and colors! Same weather here. xoRobin❤
ReplyDeleteA good way to while away an afternoon. I haven't been out all weekend. Sitting here in the chair with the Yorkies.

Dear Debbie,
ReplyDeleteHow organized you are! Labels and small zip locks... My fabric is tossed around in a great mess on shelves, table tops, chairs and whatever is around. My squares put in piles on my table to always get mixed up somehow during the piecing process... I absolutely have something to learn from you here. Excited to see this scaaaaaarrrry quilt.

You are all set Debbie…. :)
ReplyDeleteWhere are you from, or where are you living at the moment? Here in the UK we have been experimenting a Hit wave for almost a week. Very nice and very weird.
Best regards, Lorena

ReplyDeleteOh the colors of fall. I just love the fabrics you have chosen.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love starting a new quilt! I swear most of the fun is in the design and planning stage. Your fall quilt looks like it's going to be super. Have fun sewing!
