I had a ton of fabric leftover from the Daydream quilt, so I thought I would make a matching pillow for Becky's room.
I loved making the first one, so I decided to make another one.
And another.
Sophie likes them too.
I just kind of made these up as I went along. The fabrics were all from a charm pack and jelly roll, so I only had to cut the white fabric. I needed a little help with the envelope back, so I followed this tutorial. As I finished each pillow, it was instantly my favorite. Now I am not so sure.
I hope you all have a fun and happy Labor Day weekend!
Hi Debbie, Love what you did with your leftovers!! I love them all! Fabrics are just so cheery and sunny. Have a sunny weekend too! xoRobin❤
ReplyDeleteI love the colors. My daughter has a lot of orange in her room too. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteadorable pillows, adorable doggie too!
ReplyDeletethank you for the tutorial link!
Oh mercy, those colors are perfect! They look like a summer day. I love all three pillows. Well done, and your blog is beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cushions Debbie, gorgeous fabrics. Thank you for the birthday wishes x
ReplyDeletePillows are the best way to use up all the precious scraps. I hardly have a single scrap left over after my last quilt. Lots of lovely co-ordinated pillows on the bed really show that it's all handmade. I adore the fabrics that you used, so colourful.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, just to let you know, I don't think your last post posted.
ReplyDeleteAt least not for me, Dear Susan Branch, it would not open?! Just thought I would mention. xoRobin❤
Hi Debbie. I hope you decide to go to the Fair. A
ReplyDeletectually the one in Mt. Vernon might be closer......easier to meet up with someone, like me. Let me know. Your pictures are so pretty. Love the colors you used and that puppy is so cute.

Hello, Debbie
ReplyDeleteI've wandered over from Helen Phillips. Your pillows are so beautiful and cheery; I've browsed through a few of your other posts (for example, Photography 101) and enjoyed those as well. Quilting isn't something I've tried quilting (my sister-in-law does beautiful work), but perhaps one day...

I *love* your pillows Debbie. :0) What a clever and charming way to use the extras of your fabric. I can't wait to cut into mine. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSincerely. Trish
