Hello! Welcome to the Country Roads Fabric Tour hosted by the amazing ladies at Poppie Cotton. This is such a strange time in our world, but it is fun to be part of a virtual tour. Especially one called Country Roads. For those of you of a certain age, this brings to mind a very popular song from the 1970's. In fact, lyrics from this awesome song are one of the prints!! I love the mix of pinks and navy blue, as well as the text prints and florals!!
I made two versions of my favorite kind of comfort sewing. Patchwork bags. I love mixing fabric with linen, and Country Roads was perfect a combo. I loved that this line had some stripes which are my favorite for quilt bindings and bag casings!!
I have also started a quilt but this will be a long term project over the summer. I am using the Bow Tie Flower Quilt pattern by Quilters Candy.
