Hand Made

 Hi!! Happy Monday! Where DID the weekend go? It flew right on by...gorgeous weather one day, rain the next. But that's OK because  "hand made" was the focus of the week. Lots of sewing for my shop and some embroidery.

The pattern is from a special issue of BHG and I really wanted some easy stitching. Once I got started, I couldn't put it down. Stitch, relax, repeat.  Just what I needed.

I decided to stitch it to the sewing machine cover that I made when I first started quilting. The floss colors were a perfect match and it makes me smile to see the words "hand made".

Instagram.  Lazy blogging at it's best!! I just point my camera, take a photo, upload it to Instagram. And it takes about 5 seconds. I love it! I am @happylittlecottage1. This is what I have been sewing the past few days. Little Red Riding Hood. Tasha Noel designs some of THE cutest prints on the planet! Mushrooms, that darn wolf, the little house, aqua and red..... ♥♥♥

Gosh I love making dresden plates.  This became a pillow, but I didn't get a photo because I had to get it packed and shipped. Just before I came downstairs to write this post, I finished a half dresden pincushion for another order.  Love Love Love making those teeny blades!

Wish I had more to talk about, but right now it is all about sewing orders and instagramming :)

Easter Weekend

And a little bit of sewing with my happy mail. Little Red Riding Hood by Tasha Noel. How cute is this fabric??!! A bunting banner as I wanted to sew something, but not be in the sewing room all day.

Because the weekend was about spending time with family and loved ones, eating ham and counting my blessings.
